Edna M. "Dolly" Ziemer

Remembering "Dolly" with Love... Our beloved angel, Edna M. "Dolly" Ziemer, 78, of Bowmansville, Lancaster County, PA, went to be with the Lord, July 21, 2010, in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Silver Hill, a daughter of the late Elmer and Agnes (Steffy) Groff, she was the wife of James Ziemer for 59 years. A member and former Sunday school teacher of St. John's Center United Church of Christ, she worked as a seamstress and loved animals. Also surviving are daughters, Eileen Germany, Picorivera, CA; and Karen (Thomas) Smith, Cabot , AR ; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Stamm, Silver Hill. She was predeceased by a sister, Stella Matz, and brother, Alvin Groff. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. No Services... Dolly requested that there be no services. Private inurnment will be in Bowmansville Union Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to her church, St. John's Center United Church of Christ, 432 Reading Road, East Earl , PA 17519 .
