Edna N. Sheaffer

Edna N. Sheaffer, 85, a resident of Manor Care, Laureldale, PA, formerly of Ephrata, PA, died on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Manor Care � Laureldale. Edna was born in East Earl, PA and was raised in Ephrata by her foster parents, the late Walter and Sarah Kulp. She was a member of the Ephrata Church of the Brethren and worked as a housekeeper at the Ephrata Community Hospital for 45 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary (Ludwig) Sheaffer and her seven siblings: Esther, Irene, Ruth, Alta, Helen, Margie, and LeRoy. Edna is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, including Gary Kulp, of Ephrata, PA. Funeral services will be held at the Ephrata Church of the Brethren, 201 Crescent Ave., Ephrata, PA 17522 on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 10 a.m. Friends will be received before the service, from 9-10 a.m. Interment will follow at Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery.
