Remembering Edward with Love... Edward J. Priga, age 80, of Denver , Lancaster County, PA, formerly of Shillington, Berks County, PA, died at home under hospice care on Monday, October 11, 2010, at 6:20 pm. Born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, PA, a son of the late Stanley and Ella (Lawson) Priga, he was the husband of Audrey (Titlow) Priga for 54 years. A graduate of J. W. Cooper High School , Shenandoah, class of 1948, he was a Korean War Navy veteran. Ed was a self-employed barber in Shillington for 49 years and attended Peace United Church of Christ, Swartzville, PA. Also surviving are sons, Daniel (Sandra) Priga, Cranberry Twp., and Steven (Rebecca) Priga, Denver; daughter, Amy (Jason) Blavatt, Reistertown, MD; grandchildren, Kate, Benjamin Sarah Priga, and Jared Rachel Blavatt; sister, Anna Sikorsky, Shenandoah; and brother, James (Susan) Priga, Coopersburg. He was predeceased by siblings, John, Stanley, Evelyn Teresa Priga and Lorraine Vinsko. Viewing Funeral Service... The viewing will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM with services beginning at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Reverend William E. Hoch officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Fairview Cemetery , Shillington, Berks County, PA.
