Edward W. Leed Sr.

Edward W. Leed Sr., 89, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Ed was a son of the late Lloyd & Stella (Haldeman) Leed and for 57 years, he was the loving husband to the late Annamaria (Uibel) Leed. Born and raised in Salunga, Lancaster County, Ed started working at a young age and he later obtained his GED. For over 20 years he worked as a machine operator for Woodstream in Lititz. He enjoyed bluegrass music and watching NASCAR. Ed was a faithful member of Mellingers Lutheran Church in Schoeneck. Ed is survived by two children, Michael P. Leed (Sally) of Reinholds and Martha Ann Leed of Lancaster; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren. Ed was predeceased by two children, Dale A. Leed and Edward W. Leed Jr; four brothers; and a sister. Services are respectfully private. Ed's final resting place is in Lincoln Cemetery.
