Edwin W. Hainley

Edwin W. Hainley, age 73, of West Cocalico Township, Reinholds, Lancaster County, Pennsyvlania, died peacefully at home Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born in West Cocalico Township a son of the late George E. and Ella B. (Walters) Hainley, his wife, Linda Lou (Redcay) Hainley, died January 6, 2007. He was a member of Swamp Evangelical Lutheran Church and active for over 50 years with Reinholds Fire Company. A 1959 Cocalico Union High School graduate, he was a carpenter with E. F. Martzall, Reinholds, and enjoyed gardening, woodworking and hunting. Surviving is his fianc", Patricia A. (Wenrich) Wenzel, Reinholds; daughters, Sue Ellen (Larry) Knauer, Reinholds; and Jacqueline H. (Roy P.) Hackman, Hopeland; grandchildren, Vanessa & Danielle Knauer, Rochelle, Rachel & Racquel Hackman; step-granddaughters, Amie Shank & Jamie Deamer; great-grandaughter, Raelynn Hendrickson; and 7 step-great-grandchildren. A brother, George W. Hainley, predeceased him. Viewings will be held Sunday, November 30, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, and Monday, December 1, from 10:00 to 11:00 am from Swamp Lutheran Church, 275 Swamp Church Road, Reinholds, PA 17569, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am with The Rev. Dennis L.Trout officiating. Burial will be in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds.
