Elizabeth A. "Bette" Turner, age 79, of Hellam, York County, PA, formerly of Denver, Lancaster County, PA, died Sunday, September 30, 2012, in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Hanover, a daughter of the late John S. and Anna (Larkin) Weaver, she was married to Joseph D. Turner for 45 years. A 1951 Harrisburg Catholic High School graduate, she worked 25 years as a US Department of Defense computer analyst at New Cumberland Army Depot, and last with Blue Ridge CATV, Ephrata. An avid Notre Dame football fan, she enjoyed watching TV with her family and cat, "Isabel". Also surviving are daughters, Beth (Kenneth) Riland, Enola; Nancy (Skip) Love, Dauphin; Kaye (Kenneth) Leisey, Hellam; and Kathy (Scott) Klossman, Royersford; sons, David (Barbara) Turner, Mechanicsburg; and Keith (Christina) Turner, Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren: Scott Coy; Chad & Chistopher Turner; Kerre & Kyle Leisey; Ashley & Ryan Bosak; Dalton Klossman; Alexander, Thomas & Ava Turner; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rosemary (Paul) Gustin, Peoria, AZ; and Dolores, widow of George Kolarac, Harrisburg; and was eagerly awaiting the birth of her first great-great-grandchild this month. Bette was predeceased by a granddaughter, Linda Bigler. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at 11:00 am from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with a viewing from 10 to 11 am. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County, PA. Rather than flowers, contributions to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309, in memory of both Bette"s and granddaughter, Linda"s, battle with breast cancer.
