Ella M. Keiffer ...Time to Remember Ella M. Keiffer, age 87, formerly of Stevens, died early Thursday morning in the Denver Nursing Home where she resided since October 4th. She had last resided at Colonial Lodge, Denver. Born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Ella K. (Econroad) Cammauf. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ephrata, and was a former member of Carpenter's Community Church, Talmage, Lancaster County, where she had been a Sunday school teacher and Bible study leader. Retiring in 1960, she was employed for many years at the former A. N. Wolf Shoe Company, Denver; former Hesteco Manufacturing, Ephrata; and last for the former Ba-Ru-Be Co., Ephrata. Ella is survived by a daughter, Romaine, wife of Ronald E. Lorah, Melbourne Beach, Florida; a son, Joseph L., husband of Lucy H. (Hiester) Becker, Stevens; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Melo Cammauf, Denver Nursing Home, Stevens; and Floyd married to Jane Cammauf, Ephrata. A brother, Garson Cammauf, preceded her in death. Viewing Services... Ella's funeral ceremony will be held Monday morning, October 15, 2001, from our parlors with Pastor Keith Sweitzer and Pastor Glenn Hoover officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services with interment following the service in Caernarvon Cemetery, Morgantown, PA. Flowers are welcome!
