Remembering Ellis with Love... Ellis G. Shober, 93, formerly of Reamstown, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at 1:30 AM in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens. Born in East Cocalico Township , he was a son of the late James L. and Elsie G. (Musser) Shober, and the longtime companion of Elizabeth P. Myers, Reamstown. A member of Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church, Reamstown, he enjoyed antique cars, watching car races and yard sales. Ellis was a plasterer for many years with Rufus Zimmerman, Stevens, and last employed as a core maker with Boose Aluminum Foundry, Reamstown. Also surviving is a daughter, Romaine J., wife of Ronald E. Lorah, Melbourne , FL ; 2 grandsons; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Minerva Mae, wife of Franklin D. Fry, Ephrata; Bette J. Teele, Quakertown; Dorothy L., wife of Charles Shealer, Lancaster; 3 brothers, Lester M., husband of Mae (Folkenhower) Shober; and Paul R. Shober, both of Ephrata; and James L., husband of Joyce (Smith) Shober, Reamstown. He was predeceased by a brother, Clair Shober, and sisters, Naomi Demming and Kathryn Leid. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with his pastor, The Rev. Stephen E. Hollinger, officiating. Burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville. A viewing will be held on Monday from 9 to 10 AM.
