Remembering Emily with Love... Emily Catherine DeLong, 80, of 605 Holtzman Road , Reinholds, died Thursday, August 17, 2006, at 5:37 PM in her residence under the care of Berks Co. Visiting Nurses Hospice. Born December 18, 1925, in Hartford , Connecticut , she was a daughter of the late Bruno and Mathilda (Andre') Schulz. Of the Episcopalian faith she was a volunteer at the Cocalico Area Senior Center , Reinholds, and had been the president and vice-president of the project council of the Lancaster County Senior Centers. Emily owned and operated Long "D" Ranch at her home and had worked many years ago for Linette Candies, Reading. An avid animal lover, especially horses, she bred and showed registered Appaloosas throughout the east. Surviving are 2 sons, Michael DeLong, Reinholds; and Lawrence Alan, husband of Lou Ann (Guinther) DeLong, Mohnton; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Hildegarde Aguiar. Viewing Funeral Service... Services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at 8:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown, with a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
