Ethan S. Ayscue, 22, of Mohnton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2024, after sustaining injuries from a car maintenance accident. Born in Fayetteville, NC, Ethan was a cherished son of Heather Ann (Drenning) Ayscue & Roy Edward Ayscue.
Ethan was an early graduate of Andress High School in El Paso, TX, class of 2019 where he passionately trained in JROTC. He later pursued the U.S. Army & law enforcement with a great desire to serve his family, community, and country at large. Ethan obtained his Bachelor’s from Trident University and would be walking across the graduation stage a few weeks from his passing with a Master’s Degree in Business. He was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge. Ethan and his family moved to Berks County over a year ago where he began working as a Scheduling Manager for Morgan Truck Body. Through all of his life’s changes, Ethan walked courageously despite the unique boots he found himself in. In reflection, he lived life eagerly & will always be remembered for his witty remarks & off-the-cuff comedy. He was explorative and hands-on with new experiences. To him, the little things mattered. He had a keen eye for knick-knacks and anomalies of all kinds. In his short time here, his dabblings touched on the humanity in all of us. From music, art, language and history, he was fascinated with the consequential nature of time and the artifacts that exist within it. At his young age, he spent many moments in contemplation. It was through these lenses that he was an overcomer of hardship, a quick-study, and held steadfast in his beliefs and truths. His greatest love was for his family, ensuring that they knew he would sacrifice anything for them.
In addition to his parents, Ethan is survived by three brothers; Brycson Ayscue of Breinigsville, Codie Ayscue of Mohnton, Aiden Ayscue of Mohnton, a sister, Ava Moseley of Mohnton; paternal great grandmother, Arlene Meyers (whom he called Meemaw), paternal grandmother Wendy Digrugilliers; maternal grandmother, Cherry Baum (whom he called Ney-Ney), maternal grandfather, Craig Drenning (whom he called Pappy); maternal step-grandmother Beverly Drenning (whom he called Grammy); nephews, Spencer and Salem; and his girlfriend, Shah of NJ. He was previously departed by his daughter, Aiyanna Ayscue (whom he loved dearly); step maternal grandfather, Jerry Baum (whom he called Pappy); paternal grandfather, Robert Ayscue; and his uncle, Bruce Ayscue.
