Fern M. Ream

Fern M. Ream, age 95, formerly of Adamstown, Spring Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, February 5, 2015, in Stone Ridge Towne Center Retirement Community, Myerstown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Born in Richland, Lebanon County, a daughter of the late Howard and Ella (Ranck) Schoener, her husband, Howard F. Ream, died October 31, 1990. A graduate of Millcreek Township High School she worked for Good"s Potato Chips, Adamstown. Fern was a member of St. Paul"s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Adamstown. She was an excellent cook & baker and a devoted grand & great-grandmother. Surviving is her daughter, Linda K. (Robert P.) Strayer, Denver; son, Howard P. (Linda Weinhold) Ream, Newmanstown; grandchildren, Paul J. Ream, Beth (Josh) Garrison & Jeffrey (Kaitlyn Celeste) Strayer; great-grandchildren, Avery & Delaney Garrison; and sister, Grace Wolfe, Richland. 2 sisters & 3 brothers predeceased her. At Fern"s request, a private graveside service will be held in Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown, with The Reverend Sandra L. Gideon officiating.
