George Edwards

George W. Edwards, 68, of Denver, PA, formerly of Lanham, MD, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Born in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Robert A. & Marie B. (Ashby) Edwards Hiles. George was a graduate of Northwestern High School in College Park, Maryland and served in the Army National Guard. When he was younger, George loved to spend time at Indian River Inlet, Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He was a car enthusiast and worked at various car dealerships throughout his working life. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family having a special relationship with each of his nieces and nephews. George is survived by two siblings, Barbara E. Noel of Denver and D. Wayne (Phoebe) Edwards of Churchton, MD; two nephews, James K. Noel, IV of Lancaster and Robert C. Edwards of Churchton MD; a niece, Jennifer N. Sahm of Denver; and eight grandnieces & grandnephews: Courtney, Ashley, Erin, James V, Elizabeth, Chase, Robbie & Emma. He is predeceased by a nephew, D. Wayne Edwards, Jr. and brother-in-law, James K. Noel, III. Services will be respectfully private. Arrangements by Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown.
