Gilbert Wolf

Heaven gained a bearded angel on May 7, 2013. The beloved husband of Virginia L. "Ginny" (Foster) Wolf for 43 years, residing in Denver (Schoeneck), he was a Vietnam War Army veteran and retired from Western Electric, Pittsburgh, and AT&T, Reading. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed hunting, camping and time with his family and friends. Gibby was also the adoring father of Kristin (Dan) Labezius, Lancaster; and Andrea Wolf, partnered with Bert Dutt, Reading; doting "Pap Pap" of Katie, Abby & Jake Labezius; brother of Karen Atkinson, Pittsburgh; and loving uncle of many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert A. and Rose A. (Bodine) Wolf. The family wishes to express appreciation for the loving care and devotion provided by Drs. Jon & Chris Brabazon, and the staffs of DAVITA Dialysis, Denver Health & Rehabilitation and Reamstown Ambulance. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 2:00 pm from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Rev. Pam Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.Zion Evangelical Cemetery, Akron, PA. A viewing will be held Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and immediately prior to the funeral on Saturday.
