Gladys D. Flory

We Remember With Love... Gladys Gladys D. Flory, 85, 201 North State Street, Ephrata, Lancaster County, died in her home Monday at 12:45 PM under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Ephrata, she was a daughter of the late Earl H. and Marie (Horst) Myers. Her husband of 60 years, Paul F. Flory, died July 13, 1999. She had worshipped in the Brethren faith. Gladys was employed for over 25 years by the former Husin Manufacturing, Ephrata. She had worked at several other Ephrata area textile factories earlier. She enjoyed her family, as well as, quilting, embroidery, cooking and sewing handy crafts. Surviving are 3 daughters, Sandra M. Good, Reamstown, Lancaster County; Paula F., married to Jay L. Lininger, Dillsburg, York County; and Sharon L., married to Richard L. Sherk, Ephrata; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Make it do; Wear it out; Use it up Do without. Funeral Service... Gladys' funeral will be held from our parlor on Friday morning, July 19, 2002, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Stephen E. Hollinger officiating. The casket will be open just prior to the service. The burial will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, East Cocalico Township, PA.The family asks that contributions in her memory be sent to Hospice of Lancaster County, Post Office Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
