Glenn Grumling

Glenn R. Grumling, 77, of Mohnton, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. He was the loving husband of 17 years to Barbara A. (Rudy) Grumling and the son of the late Raymond & Violet (Yelk) Grumling. Glenn was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, class of 1963. He later worked for over 20 years as a custodian for the Governor Mifflin School District at Brecknock Elementary School. He enjoyed local deer hunting and trips out west for moose and elk. Local or bay fishing was also a favorite pastime for Glenn. Most of all he loved taking the grandchildren fishing; going to local fishing tournaments and watching the look on their faces when the kids would catch their first fish. He was a member of the Northern Lancaster County Game & Fish Protective Association, and a lifetime member of Gouglersville Fire Co. Glenn loved his large, blended family and had a special relationship with everyone. In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by a daughter, Brenda Tolland partner of Thomas Lepera of Lincoln, DE; two grandchildren, Ashley Sweigart and Roban Goodfellough; sister, Ann Willet; two stepchildren, Debra Lee and Larry Kachel; four step grandchildren, Stevie, Jonathan, Cody and many step great grandchildren. Glenn was predeceased by brother, Richard Grumling. Services are respectfully private, honoring Glenn's wishes.
