Glenn D. Trostle, age 89, formerly of Denver and Ephrata, died July 19, 2013, at Luther Acres, Lititz, Lancster County, PA, where he resided since 2000. Born in Denver, Lancaster County, PA, a son of the late Elmer W. and Alma B. (Mellinger) Trostle, he was the husband of Edna F. (Leed) Trostle for 67 years. A 1941 Denver High School graduate, Glenn served in the Army Air Force as a sergeant during World War II. He worked 31 years for F&M Hat Factory, Denver, and 22 years for Victor F. Weaver, New Holland, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Reamstown Church of God and was an accomplished baseball player in his day. Glenn was also an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Randy L. Trostle, Elizabethtown, PA. A memorial celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, July 24, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with his pastor, The Rev. Arthur T. Karick, officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM. Inurnment with military honors will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Denver. Rather than flowers, remember Glenn with contributions to Reamstown Church of God, P.
