Grace P. Potts

Grace Pearl (Wolfe) Potts, Resident of Country Meadows, Wyomissing was born December 16, 1936, in Highville, PA. Her father, Rev. Ralph Wolfe Sr. was the pastor at Highville Church. She shared her home with mom, Florence (Uhler) Wolfe, and siblings, Ralph Jr., Charles, Naomi, and Josephine. She graduated from Donegal High School in 1955. She met her future husband Charlie Potts through her best friend, Susie Fister. They were then married at Otterbein Church in Lancaster in April 1960. Their son, Mark C. Potts came on the scene in January 1961. Later, Grace became a happy grandmother to Jonathan M. Potts. Grace and Charlie loved working missions together, bible study groups, UMW, youth groups, and choir. Over time she enjoyed working at Educators Mutual, Avon, Albright College, Griffith & Bixler, Gallen Insurance, and for Rep. James J. Gallen. She was once the President of the Brecknock school PTA. Interestingly, Grace once resided in an apartment in what is now the Landis Valley Farm Museum. A visitation will be held on Fri., Sept. 29th from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34 N.
