Gregory S. Wentzel, 49, of Denver, passed away at home Thursday, January 27, 2022. Born in Ephrata, he was a son of the late Beverly (Steely) Fromm, stepson to Larry Fromm, and husband to Darlene (Weber) Wentzel for 29-years. Greg enjoyed construction work and was a finisher at the former Latshaw Bros. Concrete in Denver for many years and currently worked for Beiler Masonry in Ronks. He would often drive by his completed projects and proudly tell his family, 'I worked on that'. Greg loved fishing with his brothers; traveling for a bass fishing trip or local trout excursions were some of his favorite times. He was an outdoorsman at heart, hunting and enjoying the wildlife at the family cabin in Lycoming Co. Greg loved his family with his whole heart and had a special relationship with his girls, his brothers, his nieces and nephews, and his little granddaughter. He had a kind spirit and an undeniable depth of love for his family. In addition to his wife and stepfather, Greg is survived by three daughters, Kara A. Wentzel of Wilkes Barre, Heather L. Wentzel of Lancaster, Catie R. Wentzel of Denver; granddaughter, Paisley Andujar; two brothers, Rodney Wentzel (Kelly) of Myerstown and Anthony Wentzel of Reinholds; sister, Rebecca Fromm of Ephrata; many nieces & nephews; mother-in-law, Mary Weber. Greg was predeceased by brother Jason Fromm and father-in-law Leroy Weber. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens), Pa., where we will mingle and casually share stories of Greg together. In lieu of flowers, contributions are appreciated for Greg's final expenses.
