Guy Clark Seiler, 80, of Reinholds passed away unexpectedly at Reading Hospital on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024. Born in Baltimore, Clark was the son of the late Guy and Margaret (Seldner) Seiler and was the loving husband to Margaret L. "Peggy" (Effinger) Seiler for nearly 31 years.
Growing up in Baltimore, Clark graduated from Kenwood High School, class of 1962. Clark served in the U.S. Army and was called into his home city during the riots over the Vietnam war. Clark worked for AT&T for 40 years before retiring. He was an active member of the Chi Rho where he worked with young Catholic adults. When it came to their Sheltie dogs, Clark was always the “lover” while Peggy was the “trainer”. Clark enjoyed traveling with Peggy and their dogs, exploring different states and islands, including Alaska, Aruba, and the Cayman Islands. Clark was an avid golfer and played in the Chapel Hill league in Reading. These golf outings often ended with a beer and chatting with his golf buddies. Clark’s favorite ways to relax included fishing, being outdoors, and swimming in his pool. The life of every party, Clark’s outgoing personality and wit brought in many friends. His loving and fun demeanor turned many acquaintances into lifelong friends. His humor and heart will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Clark is survived by cousins, Carl and Paddy; Sheltie fur family, Kingston, Princess, & Lady Di.
