H. Kenneth (Kenny) Fausnacht, 91, of Stevens, passed away Saturday, July 08, 2023, at Legend of Lancaster. Born and raised in Stevens, he was the son of the late Harry and Carrie (Garman) Fausnacht and the loving husband to Jeanne B. (Albright) Fausnacht until her passing in 2006. Losing his father at a very young age, Kenny was a loved stepson to Russell Garman. Kenny grew up learning stories of his father and the popular Stevens Amusement Park that he owned until his untimely death, and its history as the first illuminated grid iron in PA, and host to the "great" Giuseppe Creatore Band. Kenny was a graduate of the East Cocalico High School, class of 1949 and began attending business school until he entered the military in 1952. In the army, Kenny was stationed in Staten Island during the Korean Conflict. Kenny started working at Raub Supply Co. in 1955 where he was the credit manager and retired from there in 1995. He then took a part-time collections position for Lancaster Plumbing and Heating and officially retired in 2012. Kenny was a regular member of the former ‘Hill Top' in Ephrata where he would have his signature vodka & club soda with lime juice that the bar later named "The Kenny". Kenny was a member of Muddy Creek Hunting Camp serving as president and the Reamstown Athletic Assoc. serving as treasurer. Kenny was a 3rd -baseman for several local softball teams, he loved the friendships and camaraderie of the teammates. Kenny and his wife had formerly attended St. John's UCC in Denver and he was a former Mason of the Ephrata Lodge No. 665. Kenny is survived by three sons, Craig R. (Katrina) Fausnacht of Millersville, James S. (Mary) Fausnacht of York, John R. (Jackie) Fausnacht of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon, & Alex (Emily); and a great grandchild, Peyton. A viewing will be held on Fri., July 14th from 10a.m. to 11a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens). Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens, Ephrata.
