Harold L. Sweigart

Remembering Harold with Love... Harold L. Sweigart, 78, Reinholds, died Sunday, February 14, 2010, at 9:45 PM in Reading Hospital Medical Center , West Reading . Born in Reinholds, a son of the late Lloyd D. and Kathryn E. (Gerhart) Sweigart, he was the husband of Anna Marie (Feyl) Sweigart for 52 years. A member of Hill Lutheran Church , Cleona, Harold worked for Harvey Snyder Masonry Contractor, Reinholds, and since retiring for Wyomissing Borough. He was a snowmobile, model train and auto racing enthusiast who was an avid "Phillies" and "Eagles" fan. Harold loved the outdoors and cherished his family. Also surviving are daughters, Kim M. (Richard) McMillan, Reinholds; and Kathy A. (John) Maguire, Newmanstown; a son, David H. Sweigart, Reinholds; grandchildren, Ryan Lauren Schmidt, Patrick McMillan, Sean Ryan Maguire, and Derek Abby Sweigart; and sisters, Esther Smith, Reamstown; Arlene Fuller, Reinholds; Erma Parsons, Stevens; and Linda Echternacht and Karen Weber, both Denver. A sister, Helen Roth, and brother, Barry Sweigart, predeceased him. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with the Rev. Rodney Lilley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery , Sinking Spring, PA. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and the casket will be open on Friday prior to the service.
