Helen Jones... Remembered With Love Helen Jones, 72, of 9 Bunker Hill Road, Stevens, Lancaster County, died unexpectedly Thursday morning at 9:00 AM in her residence. She had been under a doctor's care. Born in Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Rapchuck) Baron, and was the wife of John F. Jones for 51 years on February 23rd. Helen was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata. She was a 1947 graduate of Upper Merion High School, Upper Merion, PA. Jones retired in 1988 after 17 years of employment as a secretary with Dutch Peddler/Mt. Bethany Co., Inc./Bavaria Ltd., Reamstown. Earlier she worked for James Lee Mills, Bridgeport, PA. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, jigsaw puzzles and family gatherings. Surviving in addition to her husband are 5 children, Deborah M. (Jones), married to Kenneth L. Eshleman, Stevens, PA; Cynthia J. (Jones), married to Stanley R. Staneski, Denver, PA; Sandra H. (Jones), married to Tony C. Leed, Denver, PA; Melissa A. Jones, at home; and Timothy F., married to Yong O. Jones, Dover, PA; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; 2 step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; and 2 sisters, Mary Shamber and Katherine Guercia, both of Philadelphia, PA. Viewing Mass... Helen's viewing will be held from our parlors on Monday evening, September 9, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from her church, Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA, on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM. The casket will be open for viewing at the church prior to the Mass. Entombment will follow the Mass in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum, East Cocalico Township, PA.
