Hilda M. Fry

Hilda M. Fry, age 89, of Reamstown, East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, PA, died Monday, February 19, 2018, at 6:55 AM in Ephrata Manor. Born in Terre Hill, a daughter of the late Isaac and Mary (Gable) Eshelman, her husband of 50 years, James R. Fry, died December 24, 1998. A Terre Hill High School graduate, she worked for the former Science Press, Ephrata. Hilda was a member of Salem Evangelical Reformed Church (formerly Salem United Church of Christ), Reamstown, where she taught Sunday school for almost 60 years. She was active with the Reamstown Historical Society, former Cub Scout den mother, past member of Order of Eastern Star and a devoted grandmother. Surviving are her children, Karen J., married to Douglas A.Mann, East Earl; Alan R. Fry, married to Monica (Gerhart) Craig, Stevens; Dean L. Fry, Reamstown; and Glen A., married to Vickie (Royer) Fry, Stevens; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Helen Shimp, Ephrata; and Roger Eshelman, Terre Hill. Brothers, Arthur, Harry 'Bud' and Ronald Eshelman, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23, at 10 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with Rev. Rob Eshelman officiating. The viewing will be Thursday, February 22, from 6 to 8 PM and immediately prior to the service Friday. Burial will be in Center Church Union Cemetery, East Earl.
