Howard E. Moyer

Howard E. Moyer, age 84, of East Cocalico Township, Stevens, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died with his wife and pastor by his side on Friday, December 26, 2014, at 2:55 AM in Fairmount Homes, Farmersville, PA. Born in Adamstown, PA, a son of the late Howard C. and Annie C. (Texter) Moyer, his first wife, Gloria (Dobbs) Moyer, died in 1977. A 1948 Wilson High School graduate, he worked for Glidden Paint and American Chain & Cable, both of Reading. Howard attended Parkview Mennonite Church and enjoyed fishing and watching football. Surviving is his wife of 33 years, Claire E. (McFadden) Moyer; a son, a daughter, 5 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren. A sister & brother predeceased him. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, at 11 AM from Parkview Mennonite Church, 57 East Church Street, Reamstown, PA 17567, with the viewing from 10 to 11 AM Pastor Matthew Martin will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown. Contributions may be made to his church. Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, is honored to be providing services.
