Remembering "Jack" with Love... Jacob W. "Jack" Buch, Jr., 85, of 3915 Oregon Pike, Ephrata, West Earl Township , Lancaster County , died Monday, October 31, 2005, at 6:45 AM in his residence under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Brownstown, Lancaster County , he was a son of the late Jacob W. and Annie M. (Buchter) Buch, and was the husband of Helen M. (Roth) Trego Buch. A member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church , Brownstown, he was a 50 plus year choir member and soloist, having been known for his rich bass voice. Jack was an estimator with Julian Construction, Wilmington , DE , for many years. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Loving sports, he was a avid Phillies and Eagles fan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dennis Todd Buch, Willow Street, PA ; 2 granddaughters; step-daughter, Sandra L. Johns, and step-son, John A. Trego, both of Ephrata, PA; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert R. Buch, Ephrata, PA. Visitation Funeral Service...The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM at the church Friday, November 4, 2005, with the memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM from Emmanuel United Methodist Church , 11 North Church Street , Brownstown , PA 17508 , with his pastor, The Rev. Dennis E. Spangler, officiating. Rather than flowers, please remember Jack with contributions to his church at the address above.
