James C. Seese

March 5, 1970 — April 18, 2024

James C. Seese, 54, of Lititz, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Lebanon, Jim was a son of the late James Edward and Sandra Jean (Plasterer) Seese and the loving husband of almost 10-years to Gail A. Grebeck-Seese, though they’ve shared a deep and devoted relationship together for 14-years.


Jim was a graduate of Manheim Central High School, class of 1988. He pursued a career in trucking by obtaining his CDL license from VoTech. Jim had been both a long-haul and local truck driver. He worked for esteemed local companies such as Hershey Pasta, Prospect, and most recently, High Concrete as a yard-jockey. Jim had a zest for life and diverse interests. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, finding joy in every touchdown and victory. He also enjoyed racing, NASCAR and sprint car races were his favorites. He held a special place in his heart for his miniature schnauzers and he loved his pets. He cherished moments spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories through laughter, shared experiences, and fun conversations. His outgoing nature and vibrant personality made him the life of the party. Known for his straightforwardness, he never hesitated to speak his mind. He treasured his friendships and considered his friends as part of his extended family. His unwavering support and deep loyalty to his chosen family were testaments to the strength of his character and the love he had for each and every one of them.


In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by stepdaughters, Alisa Pisano (Thomas Colbern) and Chiara Pisano; sons, Trey Thiemer and Steven Seese; daughter, Siara Seese; three step-grandchildren, Aubri Jo Pisano, Ilithyia Pisano and Freyja Pisano; additional granddaughters, nieces, and nephews; brother Richard Seese and two sisters, Angela Hoffman (Bryan), and Elizabeth Checket. Jim was predeceased by a sister, Tammy Seese and a brother Thomas Seese.
