Remembering Jane with love... Jane I. Fasnacht, 74, of 32 Stony Run Village, Denver, Lancaster County, died Saturday morning at 12:30 AM in Maple Farms Nursing Center, Akron, Lancaster County, where she was a guest since March 2003. Born in Schoeneck, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late William I. and Elsie E. (Sommers) Deater. Her husband, Jacob B. Fasnacht, died September 1, 1975. She attended Swamp United Church of Christ, Reinholds. Jane had been employed for many years as a sewing machine operator with the former Cinderella Knitting Mill, Denver. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, bus trips, making latch-hook rugs and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are 4 children: Nancy L. (Fasnacht), married to Ted L. Ansel, Ephrata, PA; Patti J. (Fasnacht), married to Robert E. Bixler, Ephrata, PA; Fred A., married to Jeane (Wertz) Fasnacht, Strausstown, PA; and Rosemary E. (Fasnacht) Feister, Stevens, PA; 5 grandchildren and a sister, Ruthann (Deater), married to John Luciani, Ephrata, PA; She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William I. and Harry E. Deater. Viewing Service A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from our funeral home. The ceremony celebrating Jane's life will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM with her pastor, The Reverend M. Craig Snow, officiating. Burial will follow in Mellinger's Cemetery, Schoeneck, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Contributions...
