Jane I. Reese

Jane I. Reese, 86 years of age and a former resident of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Bob Fryer - Family Inpatient Center in Mount Joy. Jane was born in Earl Township on December 18, 1932 to Arthur and Alta Koch. She married Lee W. Reese of New Holland on March 17, 1951. Jane and Lee were married for 52 years; Lee passed away in March 2004. Lee's career in education took the family to other states for many years but after retirement, Jane and Lee returned to their beloved Lancaster County and lived in Ephrata for more than 25 years. Jane is survived by a son, Rodric R. Reese of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Lisa Reese Behrens (Ray) of Raleigh, North Carolina; a grandson, Jesse R. Behrens (Lindsay) of Raleigh; and two great-grandsons, Nolan Lee Behrens and Oliver Reese Behrens. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. 0
