Jean E. Bair

Jean E. Bair, age 84, formerly of Vinemont, Berks County, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 7:50 AM in Denver Health Rehabilitation Center, Stevens, Lancaster County, PA. Born in Vinemont, a daughter of the late Harvey K. and Julie (Milander) Texter, her husband, Richard S. 'Doc' Bair, died April 16, 2007. A 1949 Wilson High School graduate, she was a member of Vinemont Community Lutheran Church and a life-member of the Adamstown VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Jean had worked at the Berkshire Knitting Mills and last in the Vanity Fair Outlet Store. She enjoyed fishing with 'Doc' and auto races. Surviving is a sister, Elsie T. Enck, Valparaiso, IN; and nieces and nephews. A brother, Richard Texter, predeceased her. A viewing will be held Thursday, March 17, 9-10 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with services at 10 AM.
