Jerry R. Snader, age 73, of Ephrata, Clay Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly Monday, March 6, 2017. Born in West Cocalico Township, a son of the late Clarence R. and Eva (Zartman) Snader, he was married to Dixie L. (Slabach) Snader for 48 years. Jerry was a 1962 Ephrata High School graduate and was a farmer and brick-stone mason with KLB Masonry, Manheim. A true outdoorsman, Jerry loved hunting, especially his hunting trips and deer hunting. He enjoyed fishing and working at his Christmas tree farm. Also surviving are his daughters, Kelly, married to Darrin Fry; Kim, married to Larry Buehler;and Kaci Snader, all Ephrata; grandchildren: Adam Ashley Fry and Nathan Ana Buehler; and sisters Fay Weitzel Jean, married to Ronald Shober. A son, Eric David Snader, predeceased him on November 8, 1982. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 11 AM with Rev. William J. LaSalle officiating from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown. Burial in Mellinger's Cemetery, Schoeneck. Viewings will be Sunday 5-7 PM and Monday 10-11 AM. Rather than flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
