Joan A. Eifert

Joan A. Eifert, age 78, East Cocalico Township, Denver, Lancaster County, PA, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at 9:12 AM in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Kenhorst, Berks County, PA, a daughter of the late Emanuel and Florence (Leininger) Eifert, she was a 1953 Mount Penn High School graduate. A former member of Spies Lutheran Church, she worked for CNA Insurance, Reading, and was an antique dealer specializing in fancy glass. Joan enjoyed quilting and knitting and cherished her Scottie dogs. Surviving is a sister, Linda G. Weiss, widow of Rodney Weiss, Sr., Wernersville; nieces and nephews, and her Scottish Terrier, "Buddy". A sister, Evelyn Lang, and longtime friend and companion, Kenneth K. Bingaman, predeceased her. Join in the memorial celebration of Joan"s life on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 1:00 PM in Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown. Private inurnment will be in Spies Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township, Berks County, PA.
