Joseph, Kametz Jr.

Remembering Joseph with Love... Joseph Kametz, Jr., 84, formerly of Stevens, died Thursday, January 25, 2007, at 1:05 AM in the United Zion Retirement Home, Lititz, where he resided since January 2004. Born May 21, 1922, in Leola, he was a son of the late Joseph, Sr., and Annie (Walton) Kametz. His wife, Clara E. (Shemberger) Kametz, died August 7, 2002. Retiring in 1985, he was an engineer with New Holland Machine for 40 years. He enjoyed softball in earlier years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving is a daughter, Clara L., wife of Andrew Good, Reamstown; grandsons, Andrew Joseph Good, and Thomas Matthew, husband of Krista (Levering) Good, both of Ephrata; great-granddaughters, Olivia and Emily; a sister, Frances, wife of Emerson Buohl, Lititz; and a brother, W. Floyd, husband of Lucille (Wertz) Kametz, Strasburg. Joseph was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Harry. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007, at 10:30 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown, with The Reverence Kirk R. Marks officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens , East Cocalico Township .
