Joseph Lindenmuth

Joseph Todd Lindenmuth, 68, of Ephrata, formerly of Roslyn, passed away on Saturday, January 8th. Born in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Robert E. & Marie (Fitzgerald ) Lindenmuth and the loving husband to Barbara (Doerfel) Lindenmuth for 46 years. Joe was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Sr. High School; he completed his bachelor's degree in Psychology at Covenant College in Chattanooga and graduated from the Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Philadelphia. Recently retired, he had worked at Energy Transfer as a Sr. Project Manager for over 20-years. Joe was a faithful member of Reamstown Church of God in Stevens. His quiet wisdom was incredibly impactful; with few words, he could change a life. Never boastful, always humble, kind, and generous; Joe lived out his faith in Christ. He was beyond thoughtful, always bringing or doing something special for someone else. Joe loved his family with his whole heart and caring for Barbara was his priority. He enjoyed the campground cottage in New Holland, driving the grandkids around in the golf cart, and creating lasting memories. The ripples of Joe's wake will forever be seen in the lives of those he led to Christ. In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his son, Matthew Joel Lindenmuth, husband of Lana, of Limerick; a daughter, Sarah Joy Steele, wife of Allen of Myerstown; two grandsons, Aaron and Benjamin Lindenmuth; two sisters, Vicki Wingert wife of Denny, and Cindy Miller, Wife of Ted; Brother, Rick Lindenmuth, husband of Joan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held at the Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz Hill Rd., Stevens, Pa 17578 on Sun., Jan. 30th.
