Remembering Joe with Love... Joseph Robert Smith, 83, of 1522 North Reading Road , Stevens, formerly of Queens , NY , died Thursday, May 23, 2007, at 7:45 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital . Born in Astoria , NY , he was a son of the late Joseph and Ellen ( Moore ) Smith, and was the husband of Anna L. "Jean" (Williams) Smith, for 45 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he was employed as an accountant with Coopers Lybrame, NYC, before retiring. Joe was also a member of Astoria Lodge Free Accepted Masons. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Ken, husband of Aurelia (Gervacio) Smith, Goodview , VA ; 3 grandchildren and a great-grandson. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 8:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Rev. William E. Hoch officiating. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A private inurnment will be held by the family.
