Kathleen A. Sweigart

Kathleen A. Sweigart, age 80, of Brecknock Township, Denver, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, September 18, 2016, at 12:45 PM in Ephrata Manor. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mamie (Weinhold) Seifrit, she was married to Richard E. Sweigart for 59 years. A graduate of Mohnton High School, she was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Bowmansville, where she served as longtime organist, pianist and choir director. Also surviving are sons, Perry M. (Robin) Sweigart, Elizabethtown; and David S. Sweigart, Akron; a daughter, Tammy Sue Stevanus, Jacksonville, NC; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicholas Amber. A sister, Evelyn Styer, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, at 10 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Rev. Dr. Robert B. Peiffer officiating. Burial will follow in Bowmansville Union Cemetery.
