Kathryn Zong

Remembering Kathryn with Love... Kathryn Zong, age 95, of Stevens, died June 3, 2009, in the Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Hopeland, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Henry and Fannie (Weit) Haas, her husband James E. Zong, died February 13, 1982. A member of Hopeland United Methodist Church, Kathryn's zest for life was an inspiration for all who knew her. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially flower gardening, cooking, crocheting, loving her Lord and family and was a true lady with a sense of humor. Surviving is a daughter, Patricia A. Wolf, Stevens; a grandson, Brad Wolf, Ephrata; a granddaughter, Lori (Tim) Patterson, Stevens; and four great-grandchildren, Drew, Cole, Ava Taylor. Her son, James Henry Zong, died March 4, 2009. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 3:00 PM in Hopeland United Methodist Church, 295 North Clay Road, Lititz, PA 17543, with her pastor, The Reverend Dennis R. Snovel, officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown.
