Kathy E. Schlegel

Kathy E. Schlegel, age 71, of Cornwall Borough, Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania,formerly of Reinholds, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,died January 1, 2018, at 9:25 PM in Hershey Medical Center. Born in West Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania,a daughter of Leonore L. (Kegerise) Fitterling, a resident of Garden Spot Village, New Holland, PA, and the late Richard S. Fitterling, she was married to Gary L. Schlegel for 50 years on August 18th. A 1964 Cocalico High School graduate, she received her Associate inAccounting degree from Goldey-Beacom College, Wilmington, Delaware,and worked as treasurerand office administratorfor The Loomis Company, Wyomissing, PA,for 33 years. Kathy was a member and deacon of Quentin United Church of Christ, past president of Adamstown Woman's Club, enjoyed golf, gardening, sewing and cherished her family. Also surviving is her son, Steven Schlegel, Palmyra; grandchildren: Aidan, Riley Callie; and her brother, Chris I., married to Linda Fitterling, Stevens. A Memorial Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held on Wednesday, January 10, at 7 PM from Quentin United Church of Christ, 11 East Main Street, Quentin, PA 17083, with The Rev. Julia Beall officiating. A visitation will be held at the churchfrom 5:30 to 7 PM. The family will hold a private inurnmenton a later date.
