Remembering Ken with Love... Kenneth E. Eckenroth, 60, of 1592 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, PA, died at home with his loving family, Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at 11:10 PM. Born October 20, 1946, he was a son of the late Richard T. and Mildred A. (Swartz) Eckenroth, and was the husband of Arlene F. (Leed) Eckenroth for 33 years. A member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Swartzville, he was a Marine Corps Lance Corporal during the Vietnam War. An auto mechanic for 38 years he was last employed by the former Sunline Coach, Denver, and earlier for R R Auto Sales, Ephrata. Ken was a 1964 graduate of Garden Spot High School, New Holland, and was a member of the Cocalico Cruisers; Pappy's 9 Hunting Camp, Potter County; and Life member of the Adamstown VFW, PLICQUE Pup Tent 77, and Gouglersville Fire Company. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sharon R., wife of Christopher Roth, Mohnton , PA ; grandchildren, Hannah and Cy; a brother, Richard C. Eckenroth, Denver, PA; and 3 sisters, Betty J. Eberly, Denver, PA; Donna Eckenroth, Akron, PA; and Kathy, wife of David Eager, Holly Hill, FL. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown, with The Reverend Paul W. Smeltz and The Reverend Randy S. Ott, officiating. Burial with military honors by Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville, PA. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. It is requested that flowers be omitted, and Ken be remembered with contributions to Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue , Lebanon, PA 17042 or Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 Brown Street - Suite 23 , Middletown, PA 17057.
