Remembering Ken with Love... Kenneth E. Ludwig, Jr., age 29, of 11 South Farmersville Road , Leola, West Earl Township , Lancaster County , was killed by a passing Amtrak train in East Lampeter Township , Lancaster County , on Wednesday, August 17, 2005. The coroner's office ruled the death accidental. Born April 6, 1976, in Lancaster , PA , he was a son of Kenneth E., Sr., and Miriam L. (Shirey) Ludwig, with whom he resided. A 1995 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School , he was a member of Community Bible Church , Leola, and worked at Giant Food Store, Leola. Surviving in addition to his parents are 2 sisters, Renee (Ludwig), wife of Larry W. Hammaker, Jr., Mt. Joy , Lancaster County , PA ; and Lori L. (Ludwig), wife of Jeffrey D. Groff, Ephrata, Lancaster County , PA. Visitation Funeral Service...The ceremony celebrating Ken's life will be held at our funeral home on Wednesday morning, August 24, 2005, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Phil Towles officiating. There will be no viewing. Ken will be buried in Muddy Creek Cemetery, East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, PA.
