Kenneth W. Ansel

Remembering Ken with Love... Kenneth W. Ansel, age 82, of Stevens, Lancaster County, PA, died February 7, 2012, in Ephrata Community Hospital , Ephrata, PA. Born in Reamstown, PA, he was a son of the late Harry G. and Edna (Sweigart) Ansel. Ken and his wife, Arlene W. (Gelsinger) Ansel, would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on March 3rd. An engineer with Sperry New Holland, now CNH, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, coached little league baseball and raised and trained race horses and beagles. Also surviving is a daughter, Kathy Ansel, and sons, Perry (Patricia Werner) Ansel, and Jeffrey (Mary Thompson) Ansel, all of Stevens; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marguerite Mohn, Akron; and brothers, Donald Ansel, Stevens; Clair (Allegra Newpher) Ansel, Terre Hill; and Marvin (Florence Wenger) Ansel, Ephrata.
