Lloyd M. Moyer

Lloyd M. Moyer, age 77, of Bethel, Berks County, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at 10:26 PM in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Lebanon County, following a brief illness. Born in Manheim, Lancaster County, a son of the late Lloyd H. and Ruth (Mann) Moyer, he was the husband of Naomi (Keller) Moyer for 56 years. A member, deacon, trustee, and youth advisor of Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, he also helped organize the church tractor, truck car show. Lloyd was employed for over 40 years at Camp Swatara, Bethel, where he was active in tournaments fundraising. He was an avid golfer, woodworker outdoorsman.Surviving in addition to his wifeare daughters, LuCinda M. 'Cindy', married to David L. Bradley, Quentin; Mellissa M., married to John R. Hipps, Dayton, VA; son, Errol S., married to Nanette R. (Gingrich) Moyer, East Petersburg; 4 grandchildren: Ethan, married to Jenna (McKee) Jacob Bradley; Alton Adeline Hipps; sister, Elsie, married to Lowell Stauffer; brothers, Carl, married to Helen Moyer,Earl Moyer, Burnell married to Erma Moyer, Glenn married to Shirley Moyer, Harold, married to Alta Moyer Lamar married to Sally Moyer. The funeral servicewill be held on Saturday, May 21, at 11 AM from Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 Rehrersburg Rd., Bethel, PA 19507, with Pastor Matt Christ officiating. Burial will followin the adjoining cemetery.Lloyd's viewings will be from the church on Friday, May 20, from 5-7 pm and Saturday, May 21, from10-11 AM.
