Lottie Wise

Lottie Wise, age 100, of Brecknock Township, Stevens, Lancaster County, PA, died Friday, August 2, 2013, in her grandson and granddaughter-in-law's home under the care of Hospice & Community Care. Born in Napierville, Lancaster County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lizzie (Sheaffer) Frederick. Her husband, Edwin C. Wise, Sr., died Sept. 4, 1987. She worked at the former A. N. Wolf Shoe Company, Denver, PA, and was a generous person doing anything for anyone. Lottie enjoyed attending senior group activities and loved animals, especially cats. Surviving are her grandchildren, Edwin C. (Kathy) Wise, III, Stevens; and Dena Marie Hostetter, Ephrata; 8 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Harriet Wise, Ephrata; and her cat, "Pumpkin". Her children, Betty Jane Wise and Edwin C. Wise, Jr., predeceased her. Private graveside services will be held in Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery, Ephrata, PA.
