M. Kathleen Sybil

Remembering Kathleen... M. Kathleen Sybil, 76, of 118 Red Gate Lane, Reading, Mass., formerly of Adamstown, died Wednesday at Harborside of the North Shore Nursing Center, Saugus, Mass. of natural causes. Born in Mohn's Hill, Spring Township, Berks County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel C. and Mary (Mekiska) Woods. Her husband, Thaddeus W. "Ted" Sybil, died August 14, 2001. She was a member of the Lutheran Faith and was a 1943 graduate of Shillington High School, Berks County, PA. Moving to Woburn, Mass., in 1951, she was a councilwoman for the city of Woburn for several years in the 50's, but was a homemaker most of her life. Kathleen enjoyed playing the organ and listening to opera. Surviving are 2 brothers, Samuel K., married to Dorothy (Dickersheid) Woods, Adamstown; and Robert H., married to Frances (Applebach) Woods, Lancaster; and nieces and nephews. Viewing Visitation A viewing will be held at The Cota Funeral Home, 335, Park Street, North Reading, Massachusetts, on Friday, January 25, 2002, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 28, 2002, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 North Reamstown Road, Reamstown, Pennsylvania. CeremoniesRelatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service from the Cota Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, 2002, at 10:00 AM and also on Monday, January 28, 2002, at 11:00 AM from the Good Funeral Home in Reamstown, PA, with The Rev. Sandra L. Gideon officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, PA.
