Marcella S. "Jullie" Steffy

Remembering "Jullie" with Love... Marcella S. "Jullie" Steffy, 89, formerly of Adamstown, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 7:22 PM in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens. Born in Adamstown, a daughter of the late William L. and Katie L. (Snyder) Bair, her husband, Franklin L. Steffy, died October 12, 1985. A member of Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Adamstown, she was also a life member of both the Adamstown VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Alleghenyville Grange. She retired from Hope Hosiery, Adamstown, after over 30 years of employment and enjoyed camping, the beach and her family. Surviving is a son, Randy L. (Linda Balthaser) Steffy, Reinholds; granddaughter, Wendy Ann Kerschner; great-grandsons, Casey and Conlan; sisters, K. Lenora Adams, Adamstown; and Peggy E. ( Leon ) Texter, Fivepointville; and brother, Willard J. (Ruth Miller) Bair, Sr., Fivepointville. "Jullie" was predeceased by a son, William "Billy Boy" Weinhold, and brothers, William, Richard and Selmer Bair. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with her pastor, The Rev. Peter V. Marsden, officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery , Adamstown. A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Contributions may be sent in Marcella's memory to Alzheimer's Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 205 , Harrisburg , PA 17110 .
