Remembering Margaret with Love... Margaret F. Overholser, 90, formerly of Reamstown, died Sept. 8, 2011, in Denver Nursing Home. Born in Reamstown, a daughter of the late Fred M. and Alice (Binkley) Reddig, her husband, Newton E. "Newty" Overholser, died Oct. 21, 1992. A graduate of East Cocalico Vocational School , she was a member of Salem Evang. Reformed Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and choir member. Margaret operated Reddig's Store, founded by her father in 1927, from her home from 1944-1971, and last worked in the Reamstown Elementary School cafeteria. Surviving is a son, Frederick J. (Edythe Rudisill) Overholser, Ephrata; a daughter, Jane E. (Gregory E.) Harting, Denver ; grandchildren, Beth Ann (Paul) Bauman, Margaret Ann (Joshua) Harvey , Amy Elizabeth Harting and Matthew Eugene Harting; and great-granddaughter, Caroline Harvey. She was predeceased by sisters, Helen Smith and Doris Shober; and brothers, Ralph and Jay Reddig. Service Information... Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with her pastor, The Rev. Stephen E. Hollinger, officiating. Burial in Memory Gardens , Ephrata. Viewings will be held Sunday 6:00 to 7:30 PM and Monday 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to Salem Evangelical Reformed Church, Box D, Reamstown , PA 17567 .
