Marian Rutt

Marian L. Rutt, 92, of Denver, passed away Thurs., Feb. 27, 2020 at Maple Farm Nursing Center, Akron. She was a daughter of the late Victor & Carrie (Shober Roth) Reddig and the loving wife of 55 years to Clair T. Rutt until his passing in 2003. While raising her five sons, Marian founded and led a Cub Scout Troup. She had worked at Hamilton Watch, Moyer's in Ephrata, and was the letter carrier for the local mail route. She was a member of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church in Denver. Marian was always helping others. Family gatherings, beach trips to Chincoteague, and camping at the Indian River Inlet were some of Marian's favorites. She loved her grandchildren and was so hopeful to see her newest great grandbaby due to arrive soon. Marian is survived by four sons, John R. Rutt of Stevens, Robert A. Rutt (Angela) of Stevens; Larry D. Rutt (Jane) of Denver, Neil D. Rutt (Tammy) of Chandler, AZ; nine grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Clair "Lee" Rutt; brother, Vic Reddig; & sister, Rhonda Ford. Services are private. Marian's final resting place will be Muddy Creek Cemetery, Denver.
