Martha J. "Marty" Ade

Remembering "Marty" with Love... Martha J. "Marty" Ade, age 82, of Reamstown, died at home Wednesday, July 7, 2010, under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Angelica, Berks County , she was a daughter of the late Walter L. and Ellen (Focht) Werner. Her husband, Edward Ade, died April 23, 1987. A Wilson High School graduate, she was employed for many years as a secretary and bookkeeper and was an auditor for East Cocalico Township . Marty was a member of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , and a longtime active member and council member of the former Salem Lutheran Church , Reamstown. She sang in the choir at both churches. A member of Reamstown Memorial Park Association, Reamstown Days Committee, she enjoyed playing cards with the Denver Woman's Club and other groups. Surviving is a son, Edward K. ( Sharon ) Ade, Albuquerque , NM ; daughters, Judith A. Falkiewicz, and Janet A. Leidholdt, both Ephrata; and grandsons, Kyle, Ed and Kevin. She was predeceased by a sister, Eva Nye. Viewings Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, at 2:00 pm from Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , 11 S. Muddy Creek Rd. , Denver , PA 17517 , with Rev. Glenn Beard, Jr. officiating. Burial in Salem Union Cemetery , Reamstown. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 pm from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, and prior to the service Saturday at the church.
