Remembering Mary Ellen with Love... Mary Ellen Zerbe, 71, 1131 Old Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, PA 19608 , died Sept. 5 at 9:25 PM in ManorCare, Sinking Spring, where she resided since April 26, 2005. Wife of auctioneer, Jairus E. Zerbe, she was born in Reading a daughter of the late Kenneth C. Wickel and Kathryn (Eyrich) Wickel Love. A 1951 graduate of Wilson High School , she worked as bookkeeper for Zerbe's Auction Services, Sinking Spring, for 18 years, and at Tersuhow's Department Store, formerly of Reading. A member of Advent Lutheran Church , West Lawn, she belonged to the Berks Camera Club, Berks County Orchid Society, was a past member of Eastern Star, Bluebirds and a former Girl Scout leader. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Jane Louise (Zerbe), wife of David Paul Windhorst, Portersville, PA, and Betsy Kay (Zerbe) Gibson, Zionsville, PA; 2 grandsons, David Paul and Bradley Davis Windhorst, Portersville; a sister, Lois G. (Love) Rose, Millsboro , DE ; and a brother, Clarence V. Love, West Lawn. Viewing Funeral Service...The viewing will be Friday, September 9, 2005, from 7-9 PM with services Saturday, September 10, 2005, at 1:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., Reamstown, The Reverend Robert L. Kramer will officiate. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township, Berks County, PA.
