Mary Helen Horst, 77, of 306 Rolling Terrace, Leola , PA , died Thursday, August 31, 2006, at 8:30 AM in Lancaster General Hospital where she was a patient since Monday. Born November 16, 1928, in Talmadge, a daughter of the late Henry and Thelma (Kauffman) Becker, her husband, Woodrow R. "Woody" Horst, died June 20, 2001. A member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church , Brownstown, she retired from Lancaster General Hospital where she was a licensed practical nurse. Surviving is a daughter, Chris E. Horst, Newmanstown; a son, Ronald K., husband of Joyce (Beck) Horst, Hopeland; and 2 step-sister, Dolores Rice, Lititz; and Reba Houck, Lancaster. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 11:00 AM from Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 11 North Church Street, Brownstown, PA 17508, with her pastor, The Reverend Dennis E. Spangler, officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will be in Brownstown Cemetery, West Earl Township, Lancaster County, PA. Kindly omit flowers.
