Remembering Mary Jane with Love... Mary Jane McQuate, 82, formerly of Blainsport, died Monday, July 24, 2006, in Ephrata Community hospital where she was a patient for 12 days. She resided at Luther Acres, Lititz, since 2002. Born August 14, 1923, in Denver , PA , she was a daughter of the late Harry M. and Helen W. (Baker) Ludwig. Her husband, Harry S. "Bud" McQuate, died November 14, 1977. A member of Swamp Evangelical Lutheran Church , Reinholds, she sang in the choir and served the Lutheran Church Women and Altar Committee. She also belonged to the Reinholds Lioness Club. A 1941 Denver High School graduate, Mary Jane was employed by Cinderella Knitting Mills and Hemmerich Industries, both Denver . Surviving are 3 daughters, Brenda A. Lutz, Reinholds , PA ; Linda J. Evans, North Wales , PA; Rebecca L., wife of Barry Moyer, Wernersville, PA; 3 sons, H. Samuel McQuate, Jr., New Holland, PA; William M., husband of Marie (Heft) McQuate, Denver, PA; and Patrick D., husband of Nancy (Weinhold) McQuate, Denver, PA; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, William H. and Andrew B. Ludwig. Viewing Funeral Service...A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 North Reamstown Road , Reamstown , PA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at 11:00 AM from Swamp Evangelical Lutheran Church, 275 Swamp Church Road, Reinholds, PA 17569, with her pastor, The Rev. Dennis L. Trout, officiating. Burial in Swamp Cemetery , Reinholds , Lancaster County, PA. Kindly omit flowers.
